Project Overview


EgyComm successfully delivered a complete technology infrastructure transformation for Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt, completed in 2019. This landmark project showcases expertise in implementing integrated smart campus solutions that enhance the academic environment, ensure campus safety, and enable efficient educational operations.
 
 
Scope of Work EgyComm provided end-to-end implementation of the following critical campus systems:

  • Data Infrastructure: Design and installation of a robust network backbone providing a high-capacity foundation for all academic and administrative operations.
  • Wireless Network: Deployment of a comprehensive Wi-Fi network covering lecture halls, laboratories, libraries, and outdoor areas to ensure uninterrupted connectivity for students and faculty.
  • Surveillance System: Implementation of an extensive security system covering entrances, corridors, and parking areas to monitor campus activities and ensure student safety.
  • Public Address System: Installation of a campus-wide audio system enabling clear communication for university-wide announcements, emergency alerts, and zone-specific messaging.
  • PBX Telephony System: Deployment of a modern Private Branch Exchange (PBX) system to facilitate efficient internal and external communications across faculties and departments.
